Today I´m bringing you a story…
As you know, it hasn’t even been two months since I created my website, so there are parts of the website that are still in process. One of them is the text. Each collection of artworks comes with a story. However, this story does not delve into each of the artworks that make up the collection. And although all the paintings in a collection have something in common, at the same time, each one is unique, has its own story. And that’s what I want to share with you today, one of those stories, in particular, that of “The Raven´s cry”:
“The Raven´s cry”
“When this cry is let out, something inside you is released and calmed down.
You know when you try to hide your fears and all you get is just the opposite, their presence becomes stronger? Or you try to eliminate those fears, to make them disappear, and they invade your body even more.
I like to imagine my fright in the form of a raven, someone I have to take care of. Someone I have to give my attention to and never ignore.
Do you find that just when you give voice to those fears, they suddenly become less insistent, less invasive?
This art print of a raven realizing your fears is painted in expressive and liberating brushstrokes in black and white.
A painting that could be a gift for someone or for yourself, that gives voice to your fears. A painting that invites you to create a special bond with your own Raven.”

By the way, I haven´t forgotten that in my last email I promised you that I would tell you about my new project. There is already a new project, and it is already taking shape and coming to life. But I’m going to reserve the news for my next email because I want to show it to you in pictures, and instead of me describing the work, it would be better if the pictures invited you into my workshop so you can see it for yourself!
So with lots of excitement and emotion, and I’m not going to lie to you, also feeling a little nervous, I will say goodbye. Happy flying with your Raven!
